Project 4: Village of Slocan Boat Ramp

Delterra designed and was involved during construction of the 2005 Slocan double boat ramp. This ramp is now considered to be one of the nicer boat ramps on Slocan Lake, BC and is heavily used. The ramp has a reinforced 200 mm thick concrete ramp, which was pre-cast on the shore and pushed into the water after curing to prevent any toxicity to fish. The center loading dock slides on a stainless steel anchored cable and is movable with the rise and fall of the lake.
